He makes a very strong case that email is actually more important that your church’s other social media profiles for connecting people into the life of your church, and I would have to agree. Brady talks about the fact that more people open emails, interact with emails (they click things), and are comfortable receiving promotional announcements via email than any other channel, if it’s done right. He offers five big tips:
- Send the newsletter from a person.
- Send it at the same time every week.
- Include exclusive details not given anywhere else.
- Use irresistible subject lines.
- Learn from the metrics as you go.
